In the last weekend, we went to Jungle Rumble at Liverpool One. I thought I’m going to blog about it, as I was sure it would be a fun day out in Liverpool. Sadly, they are closing down, thus I’m not going to make the post.
It was so much fun and we’ve also got an amazing offer. We paid once and we went on both golf courses and the cocktails were 2 for £8! Amazing prices and the cocktails were fab.
I love seeing fruits in trees and I saw these at Croxteth Hall walled garden. On that gorgeous day I took many pictures of the beautiful flowers that are there in bloom, but this one was my favourite.
Another thing I’ve loved seeing were the chillies. There were so many. I should start growing some at home.
I’ve been to a sculpting class. Next post it will be about this, basically I’m going to share a few pictures with my “masterpiece”.
After last month I’ve read 10, this month I’ve finished 5 books. At the moment I’m reading 2 more books and I’m listening to one. Most likely I will finish two of them in the first week next month. I’m also thinking of talking about borrowing books from the library, pros and cons regarding this.
Books finished in August:
A History Of Scotland by Neil Oliver – 3 stars
Angelica Stone by Susi Osborne – 5 stars
The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman – 5 stars
Overcoming Social Anxiety and Shyness by Gillian Butler – 4 stars
I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai – 4 stars
I’m sharing the reviews on my book blog, so do check it out, on coffeeandbooks.
When it comes to cooking, I’ve made 181 biscuits. Bake Off has started and I might bake some of the challenges. It’s not as exciting as it was on BBC, the jokes are annoying. Thus, I’m not baking along each week as I used to. It’s a shame though, as it was something I loved doing.
Next month I have some lovely plans again. It will be Heritage Open Days and I want to go to World of Wedgwood on a weekend. We are watching F1 again, after their summer break, and it proves to be very exciting, with a battle for the title that is very close.
How was your August? What are you looking for of doing in September?
