For Christmas I received a set of Bed Head Shampoo & Conditioner Urban Antidote #2 from my Secret Santa. I wasn’t familiar with the brand, so I had no expectations. I started using it in January and I’m delighted with the results. My hair felt better from the first time I used it. As the shampoo is running out, I bought a big bottle. I got it for £10. It’s more than I would usually spend on shampoo, but now that I’ve tried it, I see the difference and I think it’s great value for money.
I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and I usually let it dry naturally. Even though it’s quite long, if I dry it with the towel and comb it, it takes 1-2 hours to be fully dry. I might use a hair dryer if I’m in a hurry. I use a wide tooth comb for combing my hair through the day, not only after washing it. I’m not that keen on brushes as they can be quite tricky to use for my type of hair.
The shampoo smells lovely and it has a thick consistency. It cleans the hair fast without having to use a lot of product. For long hair this can be an issue, because more shampoo means it takes longer to rinse. After using it, I feel the hair is smoother and it certainly looks healthier.
The conditioner is great too. After using it I saw that my hair doesn’t get tangly as it did before. I’ve used conditioner many times before, as I had long hair since I was 2. While it’s usually better with conditioner, I think the Bed Head one is better than the last ones I’ve used.
The shampoo can be bought from Asos: Bed Head shampoo and Bed Head conditioner. You can also find it on amazon.
