V Revolution, review

Last week we’ve been to Manchester for the Museums at Night. We arrived earlier as we had something do to. After we’ve finished, I looked online for a vegetarian bistro/cafe to have a quick meal before going to the museums.

We were in the Northern Quarter and I found the V Revolution cafe. They were closing in less than 1 hour, but it took us only a couple of minutes to get there from where we’ve parked the car. We found a table, ordered from the menu as the specials were all gone, obviously. When we’ve arrived, only 1 table was occupied, but in a few minutes it was almost full.

The food arrived quickly.

Hubby had the Mini Mac: “beef” burger, with “cheese”, gherkins, crispy onions and burger sauce. I’ve tried, it was delicious.

I had the Heisenberger: “beef” burger with blue “cheese”, “bacon”, caramelized onions and rocket. It was very good, I liked the onions a little sharp. All came together beautifully.

The only thing that I would change to the menu would be chunky chips instead of nachos. The combination seemed a little strange to me. The prices are very affordable, the burgers are only £4-£5, the soft drinks less than £2. I will go to try the daily specials and other types of burgers.

The cafe looks nice, is decorated American style and it fits great with the menu. Vegan ingredients are on sale too, seitan, burgers, cheese. They have a diversified range of products.

    1. Is such a treat to eat in a veggie restaurant, isn’t it? I know I can order anything from the menu and I love it :)
