On Friday I’ve been invited to a special event that marked the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of Titanic Spa, in Huddersfield. It was the first time I’ve been to Linthwaite, the small village where the Spa is located. The village looks amazing, lots of hills and valleys, it’s a delight.
Titanic Spa is at the edge of the Pennines, in an old textile mill and it’s the first Eco-Spa in UK.
The event was held at Bar 1911. I admired the beautiful decor while I was sipping from delicious cocktails and champagne. We had a tour of the Spa, as much as was possible considering there were a lot of guests.
This is one of the 2 bedrooms apartments and it’s beautiful. The views are amazing, as you can see. The apartments are very comfortable. There is plenty of space, lovely functional kitchen, big living room with a couple of sofas. The main bedroom has its own walk-in wardrobe, I loved that.
There are 7 similar apartments and another 30 1-bed apartments, with the same facilities.
The Spa offers a lot of treatments. There is a relaxation area, where people can sleep or just relax. I tried it and I have to admit it’s not for me. I can’t spend more than a few minutes not doing something. If you are like me and you’re not keen on the relaxation area, there are so many other things to do. There is a restaurant, a gym, a huge pool, an outdoor hot tub, an Heat&Ice experience.
This is one of the treatment rooms, dim lights, comfy and big. I had a neck and shoulder massage and I felt amazing. My muscles were so tense as I’m in the middle of my 30-days pushups challenge (similar to this one, 5 minutes a day). Now I feel I should get a massage weekly, it felt so good.
I was invited to the blogger event at Titanic Spa. All opinions and pictures are my own. I loved the Spa and this is why I mention it on my blog.
