I like Eco-friendly products, it’s better for the environment and for us too, as it means we are living in a greener world. I was excited to receive this bundle from Greener Cleaner Products for review and to host a giveaway, so one of my readers would have the chance of winning a bundle.
For me, cutting down waste is important, regardless if it’s food waste or anything else. I am washing and removing the labels of glass and plastic jars, so I can reuse them again and again, prolonging their lives with a couple of years, even more when it comes to plastic. So, I’m obviously delighted to see that more things can be done with plastic stuff after they’re no longer needed.
These products are 100% made with wood pulp and recycled plastic using Eco-Flex, a patented technology. I think it’s wonderful, a good way to use plastic which leads to a reduction in waste and in what goes into the landfill. By using ready made plastic, there isn’t the need to use fresh raw materials. Also, according to their website, less energy and water are needed, hence there is a reduction in pollution from incineration. The products are made with sustainable wood and recycled Polypropylene.
The bundle:
Scrubbing Brush, on green. It can be used for floors, tiles and stones. Price: £3.99.
Utility Brush, on red. It’s made as a small precision brush for hard to reach areas, great for glass, ceramics and plastic. Price: £3.99.
Pot & Pan Brush, on blue. As the name says, it’s for pots and pans. It has an integrated scraper for burnt on food. Price: £2.49.
Dish Brush, on Cream. It cleans glass, ceramics and plastic and it has a precision small brush for hard to reach areas. Price: £3.99.
Window Wiper, on Cream. It has a soft rubber blade that makes wiping water easy. Price: £3.99.
Dustpan & Brush, on Turquoise. Price: £5.99.
The products are sturdy and they look like they will last for a long time. I like the colours too, bright. I love the window wiper. I washed the patio doors in a matter of minutes with it, it’s really good. The Pot & Pan brush is ok, it was hard to clean a pan that was burned, which is hard anyway. Luckily I don’t usually burn the food. I’m yet to use the dustpan and the scrubbing brush, but they will come in handy when I’m going to do a full clean of the house.

The overuse of plastic and the damage its doing to our marine life greatly concerns me, I try to recycle or re-use everything I can.
I always use green cleaning products whenever I can because I believe we have a duty to look after our earth, and preserve it as much as we can for future generations.

It’s very hard to find good brushes and the fact they are colour coded makes it easier to assign them tasks/rooms. I like the idea of a dedicated utility brush as it will stop me saving old toothbrushes and the like for mucky work.
