Last year I’ve been at an event organized by Very – Very Christmas Party (if you want to have a look). Skin Doctors were at the event, so we had a chat. I won a face cream at their stand, and I got this Skin Doctors Vit C Ampoules Face Cream in the goodie bag.
I was very excited to try it. I waited for my face cream to finish, then, last month I’ve been away to London. As a result, I’ve postponend trying the Skin Doctors Vit C for a bit. In an attempt (failed, if you are wondering) I wanted to “pack light” and that meant getting only one face cream instead of two. Pretty much that was the only part of light packing I managed to do. When I got back from London, I was ready to start using it. Thus, now, after using it for over 3 weeks, I’m sharing my experience.
What I love about using this face cream is the feel I get. I mean how the skin feels to touch. It’s a silky powdery feel that I enjoy a lot. I’m not sure if powdery is the best way to describe it. It’s not oily at all. After using it, my face feels smooth and hydrated.
It was the first time I’ve used ampoules. Each of them has 0.3ml of serum. This amount is enough, for me, for face and top part of my neck. The cream is absorbed quickly into the skin. I like using it.
I can’t say I’ve noticed any improvements, but, there wasn’t much to improve in the first place (sorry if it sounds like I’m bragging, it wasn’t my intention). As I’m using good quality moisturizers, the difference between them is not huge.
At very, the Skin Doctors Vit C face cream is £39. Considering it has 50 ampoules, this means it’s enough for 1 month and a half. Because I always prefer to spend a bit more on skincare, I think is good value for money.
