Fitness Update – P90X3, 2nd block

I just finished the 2nd month of P90X3, you can have a look at my first update here.

Like in the first block, I didn’t do all the workouts, I skipped 4 of them. The workouts are only 30 minutes, but even so, sometimes I can’t fit one in my schedule or I’m too tired. I also started running for the 5k race on 27th, this month. The race has a slow pace, so I’m not too worried about it. On the first run I did 3.5k in 24 minutes, so I think I can have a steady pace without a lot of training.

Another great thing that I’m so proud of, I could up my weights! From the 4.5kg that are in the picture of the first fitness update to 6 kg. Obviously, depending on the type of the exercise and the number of reps, I still use lower weights too.

  1. I’ve recently got into weight lifting and the difference it has made to my workouts and my overall fitness is unbelivable! I’ve heard so many things about the P90 programme, I’m guessing P90x is the next level? I really should look into it, and possible buy some home weights!

    1. Is true, it makes a big difference, is one of the reasons I prefer it to cardio. P90 is the first one, then is P90X and P90X2 and finally P90X3. I did P90X and now P90X3 and I love them both, although the last one has shorter workouts and they are easier to fit in the schedule. I hope you”ll try it, is great x

  2. Glad you’re still sticking to this. I really need to do it at some point but I’ve not had chance to fit it in. I might do it in autumn/winter.

    1. Thanks Corinne x I’m still doing it and I’m thinking if I should do it again after I finish or I should start another one, like T25.
