Trentham Gardens

We took two hours off from admiring the monkeys to walk through the Trentham Gardens. We decided to go for a joint ticket as it had a discount. I feel the gardens are overpriced, worth a visit, but not a return.

My lime tart was good, even thou it was a little too sweet. I prefer the deserts less sweet and I tend to choose double chocolate or lemon/lime tarts at restaurants.

Hubby’s cheesecake was overbaked, terrible let down. The location is nice, the views are beautiful, but the restaurant doesn’t measure up.

In the gardens and woodland walk there are 15 Fairies. It was lovely to spot them, they are beautiful.

At Boathouse station we’ve decided to take the train. It was so funny to ride on this type of train, it was a first.
