I like working out so much that I consider it to be one of my hobbies. Exercising makes me feel better, sleep better and gives me more energy for everyday tasks. When it comes to exercise I like trying out new things, so I was more than happy to be invited to review Runway Pilates*.
They have different workouts and I picked Runway WorkOut Full Body. I thought it would give me a better understanding of the program and how it works. I tried Pilates before, as a part of P90X3 program. I find it hard, but I didn’t enjoy that workout as much as the others with weight training. The method they use at Runway Pilates combines Pilates with a little bit of weight training and it’s fantastic. I loved this way of doing Pilates.
I enjoyed it so much I didn’t even realize when the time passed by. All the photos are taken after the workout as it was too intense to have time to take pictures.
The equipment is easy to use and we did a lot of different types of exercises. We’ve started with legs, then core and after that arms and then back to legs and core. I liked the fact that we didn’t have to do a specific number of reps, so this meant I could go faster or slower depending on what I was doing. I think it’s great to have the flexibility to do that.
I think the Pilates class at the Runway Pilates was great. Laura, our trainer, was great. She was involved and helped us when we needed it. I think it’s a great way to workout.
Runway Pilates are located in Altrincham, Cheshire, close to Manchester, but not far from Liverpool either. The classes lasts for 45 minutes.
*I was invited to review the Runway Pilates. All opinions are my own and I wouldn’t recommend them if I wouldn’t think you would love the workout.
I have tried a course of Pilates, it was recommended to me for my Arthritis, I managed most of the session & the class was very friendly so I felt comfortable. Maybe I will consider it again.
It sounds intriguing! I’ve never tried Pilates.x
Great post!

I’ve seen videos about this before on other blogs and it looks so much fun! Pilates is hard!

I’ve yet to try Pilates, but I’ve heard so many good things about it, it’s about time I gave it a try! I like working out too, the only problem I have is the motivation to actually start, especially when I’m just feeling like I can’t be bothered. Once I actually begin it’s awesome, and yes, it’s amazing how good it makes you feel an how energised 🙂 x
