  1. This is gorgeous. I love visiting historic homes and seeing the restorations, the furniture and art. Did you get to Kenwood in Hampstead while you were in London? It’s lovely and worth a visit. I’d certainly visit here if I’m ever in Manchester.

  3. The home is beautiful and contains some really interesting features and items! I’m guessing that blank wall was for a painting either out on loan or being restored?

    1. I think it was restored. I took the picture because it was so obvious how much damage light did in the 100 years of the fabric being on the wall.
