Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden

Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden is a lovely garden with a cafe, a picnic table or two, and plenty of places where to relax on a lovely sunny day. Get some food for the very friendly fish and ducks, as I will next time I will go there. On top of that, it’s free to visit, located in Warrington.
Enjoy the pictures!

  1. I can’t believe this little gem of a place is free to visit. We have what looks like a similar sized garden close to us at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet, however event that is £6 per adult entrance and they don’t have ducks! although there is a viaduct running through it.

One of my niece’s is absolutely petrified of ducks (just ducks, nothing else!), so I guess she wouldn’t enjoy the visit much, but I think it looks lovely and peaceful. A great find! 🙂

    1. It’s a lovely place to visit and I agree, so many other places are charging for the entrance. It makes one more eager to have a coffee and maybe a slice of cake or something to eat in the cafe. I liked this place a lot.

    1. The ducks were pushy. We took a seat on a nearby bench and the ducks were coming towards us, asking for food. 😀 Funny little creatures.
