Handmade candle from Beyond Candles

The lovely Sarah from Life In A Break Down noticed the Beyond Candles studio in a craft centre she visited, the Curborough Hall Farm in Lichfield. As she loved his work so much, she decided to host a competition. I was delighted to see that I won the competition. I am keen on getting things that are handmade and local if possible. I have handmade items like jewellery, handmade vases, and bottle wine holder. I’m appreciating everything handmade. I think there is a story behind the design, there is a connection with the maker and that makes the items a little bit more special than something that is made by a machine.

When I saw how beautiful the candle is even more beautiful than the pictures, I thought I should make a post about it. To see more of the artists wonderful candles, have a look at his Facebook page or visit his studio at the craft centre. He has different candles for weddings, I love those too.

The thing I liked most about his candles is the modern design. It’s so unusual and special, I’ve never seen something like this before. He also makes bespoke candles, so I will keep him in mind if I’ll want something specific.

I like how the candle wicks are placed on the outside, it’s different.

If you are local or in a holiday in Lichfield, make sure you stop by Studio 51/Beyond Candles at Weighbridge Workshops.

Are you looking for handmade or do you prefer the precision and lower price offered by mass produced items? I would love to hear your thoughts.
