Wrexham

Yesterday we went to Wrexham for the day. I’ve been to the area before. I visited Erddig, a beautiful stately home and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. This time we went in the town to see the city centre and that was a great idea. I ended up buying a lovely coat and a book.

Wrexham is the largest town in north Wales. Its history can be tracked back before the Romans. Nowdays is a lovely city with lots of shops and tearooms where you can spend a few hours wondering around.

  1. Can you believe I only live just over an hour away from Wrexham and yet I’ve not been there for years! I keep meaning to go to Erddig too… I have been over Pontcysyllte Aqueduct a few times though 🙂

  2. My husband lived in Wrexham for a few years. When we started dating that’s where he lived so I spent a bit of time there. It wasn’t a bad place – there was a lovely Chinese there. We’ve been back recently and found it to be rather depressing! But I think we didn’t go investigating like you did – some really nice nooks and crannies!

Also, I do like the slate fountain that they have at Eagles Meadows
