Blogging

Blogger event

This weekend I attended my first event for bloggers, it took a while to write the post, but here it is.

I mentioned the event before, when I received the invite as I was so excited about this. Katie from Curvaceous Beauty organized the event and she did an amazing job. The event was held at The Button Boutique, a lovely venue, perfect for us, artistic and warm.

The event started with an interesting talk about blogging. Georgina from She might be loved was invited as a speaker. She talked about successful blogging and she gave great tips. Some of the things she mentioned made me think and I’ll have to look closely to a few details regarding SEO and tags.

The event continued with talks by 2 brands, Stella and dot and Tropic. We all got a piece of jewellery from Stella and dot in our goodie bags, that was nice.
I was impressed with Tropic, local (made in Surrey), vegan and cruelty free make up and cosmetics. As a vegetarian I have to do a little more research to find products that are suitable. I will buy a few things from them in the future.

After the talks we had tea and coffee and lovely desserts. We could take a look at the jewellery Stella and dot brought for us to see and also try the Tropic cosmetics.

The best thing was the chance to meet everybody, especially Holly, as we’ve talked for a few months now. I also met so many wonderful bloggers: Katie, Georgina, Emma, Lorraine, Kayleigh, Jemma, Jenny, Steph, Divya, Laura, Susie and Sam.
