I was invited at the Christmas Press Day organized by Metquarter. This year they’ve decided to have a breakfast press day at a lovely restaurant, The Vincent Cafe. It was a great choice.
It was the first time I’ve been to the Vincent Cafe and I loved the decor. We’ve had a lovely time, that involved a couple of cocktails, some coffee, and a very delicious breakfast.
The sugar packet looked so cute. Didn’t use it as I never add sugar in my coffee.
And this was breakfast. I have to admit that it was my 2nd breakfast, as I’m getting up at 6.30, at around 7 I’m having my breakfast with my husband. The avocado on toast with poached egg was delicious. I loved those little chilli flakes and the sourdough bread. It was really nice.
The event also involved a little fashion show with children’s clothing. The children were so cute and the clothing looked great too.
Now I’m going to talk about the goodie bag. All the items in the goodie bag are from the brands you can find at Metquarter. First of all, a lovely flower from MQ Flowers. You can see some of their stunning flower arrangements in the previous pictures.
As you can see, there are plenty of brands at Metquarter, fashion for women, men (see my post about TM Lewin – after writing that post I bought 2 shirts for my husband from them, so he has even more now), children, jewellery, a few places to eat, the Sassoon Salon. It’s aimed at a higher end shopping experience, with well known luxury brands.
I’m sure you already know the Mac store if you’ve been at Metquarter. I love those little samples from Sassoon. Their products are really good. Another shop at Metquarter is Daniel Footwear. Love their designs, but I don’t wear leather.
I found these Mococo studs gorgeous. They do have lots of beautiful jewellery. The box is lovely too, so it makes a great gift.
Isn’t this fabric bag just the cutest? I’m going to use it a lot in the next couple of months.
Have you been to Metquarter before? If not, you can find it at 35 Whitechapel, Liverpool L1 6DA.
I’ve only been to Liverpool once. Generally not keen on shopping centres but it is useful in bad weather, I just find them crowded!
I have not been there before. Will do if I ever go Liverpool.
Love the breakfast you had! Look delicious!
