1. I’m so very sorry, Anca. Festus had a wonderful life with you, with loads of love, play and good food. I hope knowing that helps ease your grief a bit, although such a loss of one so deeply loved is very hard indeed. Even though they age, the sudden finality of loss can be so very devastating. Sending you many hugs and love across the sea.

6. I’m so sorry about your loss. I know that he was old (especially for his breed) but I’m still very sorry to see him go. I will miss seeing Festus on the blog, he really was so special, he had such sensitive and clever eyes!

8. Oh no, I’m so sorry to see this post, Anca. I don’t know the details but I imagine it was fairly sudden as you were celebrating his birthday only last month. 12 years is a long time to have such a beloved friend and then lose them. I’m so very sorry for your loss, but I’m sure Festus is looking down on you and salivating every time you have pizza. I’ll miss seeing him on your blog and socials, sending you all hugs xx
