We (me, my husband, and our dog) had to make 3000+ km by car, because we (mostly I) didn’t want to transport Festus with the airplane and I had to take a lot of plates and cooking stuff. The moment we passed the Romanian border was one I’ll never forget. After that, the trip was very good, we entered the highways and we travelled through Hungary, Austria, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and France. We’ve made a lot of stops on our way to UK, but we took pictures only in Austria, near Linz.
We decided to take the ferry… and so I had the opportunity to discover I would never take a cruise or the ferry for the 2nd time. Our dog, Festus, had the same opinion considering the way he looked when we arrived at the car.
Such beautiful photos! I would’ve loved to see photos of the other countries too. Poor Festus (and you!) – not fans of sea travel then?!
