Last week I’ve been to TK Maxx and I want to share my finds. I’m not overly enthusiastic about the clothes as I never know what I can find. For the same reason, I’m very excited to see what is new in the home decor and kitchen sections.
I want to learn how to take pictures and I though I should start with this book. At the moment hubby is taking pictures or he is setting up the camera for me. So, basically, I don’t know how to use the camera. The book was only £8 instead of £20, a real bargain.
Britain on Backroads is a talking guide to 40 driving tours. I am happy with the motorways as much as everybody else, even with all those delays caused by heavy traffic. I also love to explore new places and a driving tour sounds very exciting. Most of the tours are south, obviously and only a few in this part of the country. Anyway, it’s just an excuse to go and see new things. I can’t wait to go on my first tour.
The box contains a few maps and the 3 CDs. Another bargain at £6 instead of £13.
I need a notebook, preferably a pretty one because it’s better to have something pretty. I liked the pattern and the butterflies and flowers. It will be very handy, only £5, as the planner.
The last purchase was a planner, it has sticky notes, memo pads, weekly pads and an envelope. I’m not sure what I will use it for, but it was too cute not to buy it.
You found some super item. T k maxx is good for so many things. I bought my husband a small Stellar saucepan for his birthday which he was really excited about. It was £16 instead of £72. Also got an Elemis skin products bag for a bargain price. I do like their clothes but you have to hunt through.x
Some things are real bargains. I’m not keen on their clothes because it takes so much to look at all of them that I get bored :))
I love TKMAXX for all of their bargains, I never find much stationery though! 🙂 xx
I love TK Maxx, I’m always going in and having a nosey through their home section, I managed to pick up so much stuff in there when we first moved into our new place! They have some fantastic finds!
Love the notebook and planner, I need a new notebook to take away on holiday this year for some laptop-free writing I want to do! That hardback one would be perfect! The memo/stickie pad would be great for blog or fitness planning!
Sarah 🙂
Thank you Sarah x Keeping notes and writing in a real notebooks seems like a treat after typing everyday at the laptop. I like that too 🙂
Ooh, I love the pretty notebook, and the book was a real bargain! I agree, I’m not a big fan of TK Maxx clothes, I can never be bothered to rummage through the disorder, I always head for the homeward section, too, haha 🙂 I found a lovely, handbag sized copy of Pride and Prejudice one time, which was my best purchase! x
Ohh, a small edition of Pride&Prejudice must be very cute.
