Duomo Milan

Duomo Milan or Metropolitan Cathedral-Basilica of the Nativity of Saint Mary was gorgeous to see. I share a lot of pictures from our visit, including from the archaeological area and the rooftop. Enjoy!

    1. It’s impressive what they achieved without the tools we have today. Also, I love the attention to details in places that are not visible, such as the roof. It’s a marvel to look at.

  1. I would probably have spent most of my visit looking at all the stained glass windows, although I might have tried to fit in the rooftop visit too! I would probably have had to do that alone though, as Dave isn’t a big fan of heights, particularly in exposed locations.

Great shots as always and you couldn’t have chosen a better weather day to fully appreciate your trip! 🙂

    1. The cathedral looks amazing, it worths getting the tickets for it without any doubt. I don’t like heights either, so my husband went on his own, but he said that it was fine. The archaeological part is also so interesting, included in the more expensive ticket that allows for visits to the rooftop too.
It was so hot in Italy, I would have rather visited it in March or April and not June-July. :))
