On 1st September was the big switch on of the Blackpool Illuminations. It’s their 11th year, only the second time for us, as we’ve been there a couple of years ago. The lights can be seen on the promenade daily from 1st September to 5th November.
The pictures aren’t fantastic as it was dark, but I managed to get a few. Enjoy!

I’ve not been to see the Blackpool Illuminations for years – I remember going when I was little for my brothers birthday! Might have to take the trip over with the kids this year! x

I’ve not been to the Blackpool Illuminations for years! I remember going when I was a child – 8 of us packed into the car, Dad drove us down the front with all of us with our faces smushed up against the windows! Ahh happy days!
Aww, these memories sound wonderful. You can take a trip this year, if you have the time. I’m sure the girls would love the Illuminations too.
