Harlech Castle is one of four castles on the UNESCO list, found in North Wales and built by English King Edward I, all designed by James of St George (c. 1230-1309). I’ve been to the other three and here are the pictures, from a few years ago: Beaumaris, Caernarfon (where King Charles was invested as Prince of Wales in 1969), and Conwy.
Unlike the other three, Harlech is smaller, but it is a beautiful castle, worth visiting. Enjoy the pictures!
I haven’t heard of this castle before, it looks like a great place to visit and explore. The views from it are amazing. x

I’ve seen Harlech Castle from the town and the train, but have yet to stop and pop in. I really should!

Lovely photos and thanks for sharing the links to the others. I can never see too many castle or cathedral photos!

I agree with you, castles and cathedrals are so beautiful. I plan to visit more churches and cathedrals this year, when I have the time.
