Snow in Peak District

For most people, snowing is just fun. For me, it’s one of the things I miss most. While I love the British weather, never too cold, never too hot, I was used to heaps of snow in winter. With all the amber code for snow these last few days, I wanted to see the snow. Liverpool is a place where seldom snows and, if it snows, it’s not cold enough to have snow on the ground. The only thing we could do was to get in the car and drive a bit over an hour to Peak District.

  1. I don’t like snow. It might look pretty but it stop me from relaxing! Because all my kids want to do is to go down the slope and slide! Also I’m walking like a penguin! Lovely photos!

  2. All this snow is so exciting! It’s amazing that you had the chance to drive there and enjoy it. In Bath we barely had any snow and it didn’t stay, I wish we had some more… Snow is just magical!

  3. I love snow! I don’t like driving in it though. It started snowing here in Mid Wales on Friday and didn’t stop until yesterday morning.

  4. Thank you for sharing these pictures! I love snow, and was so disappointed with the ‘snow’ over the weekend. I didn’t get to travel anywhere to see any, but a lot of my friends live in Wales and the West Midlands – and they sent me some wonderful pictures! Fingers crossed we will get some good snow soon!
