Butterfly House at Blenheim Palace

In the next days I’m going to blog about my visit to Blenheim Palace, but, until then, I thought it would be nice to share pictures from the butterfly house. It is included in the entry fee and it is a must see. It’s small, but so relaxing to visit. Also, I have so many pictures with the butterflies that a special post for them was needed.
Enjoy the pictures!

  1. Beautiful photos, Anca! Your post reminded me that we haven’t been to the Blenheim Palace for ages. We used to live in Woodstock, and had a free pass to the palace grounds as residents. There is a wonderful playground next to the butterfly house too.

  2. I recently visited a butterfly house too, but in California, and it was so much fun! It feels a little surreal to have all the butterflies flying around you. I can’t wait to read your posts about Blenheim – I’ve wanted to go for years but haven’t had the chance yet!

  3. Ah, these photos are lovely! I remember when I visited the Butterfly House at Blenheim- it was a rainy day and all the butterflies were flatly refusing to open their wings flat and many were hiding on the glass roof!!! You fared much better!

  4. Wonderful photos! It’s been years since I visited Blenheim, but I don’t remember this being an option. I would love seeing it.

  5. Wow, these look so beautiful! Cannot wait to hear more about the visit at this place.
