We’ve spent a weekend at the Ashton Hall at Lancaster Golf Club. I am sharing lots of pictures from our visit. It was good and it would have been great if they didn’t have a party on Saturday. It might have been different if we were returning late on Saturday, but we wanted a quiet time for personal reasons. Otherwise it was nice. The building dates back to the 14th century. Enjoy the pictures.

Too bad about the timing but the place looks great, very beautiful and historic. And the full English looks very good indeed!

What a magnificent historical building!
The views from it are stunning. The nature surrounding this place is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
That’s quite a golf club! It looks beautiful both inside and out. The vegan breakfast looks delicious, too. (apart from the mushrooms, of course 😉)

I think you would be horrified to see how my plate looks when I have the cooked breakfast as a buffet. I put so many that about 25% of the plate are mushrooms. 😀
The place is gorgeous. We liked it there.
What a beautiful building. Such a shame there was a party happening when you were wanting some quiet time. x
