Eonarium FLOW

Eonarium FLOW is an immersive light show at St. George’s Hall in Liverpool. It is a modern interpretation of The Moldau, a symphonic poem by Bohemian composer Bedřich Smetana. The piece was completed in 1874 and is a patriotic work, showing Smetana’s love of his country. Moldau is the German for the Czech Vltava River. The poem tells the story of the river and how it flows from the mountains, through the Czech countryside towards Prague. Very appropriately, the experience was created in collaboration with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. The experience lasts for 30 minutes and I think it is worth going to see it.

St. George's Hall

St George’s Hall is one of the best known buildings in Liverpool. It is a historic Grade I listed building which celebrates its 170th anniversary this summer.
It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the show starts, to have enough time to look around, sit on these bean bags. Enjoy the experience.

  1. I absolutely adore Vltava (The Moldau)! It is such a beautiful piece and I have been recently teaching my Year 5 children about it so I MUST tell them about it! I shared a blog post about it back in 2020 (which I think you commented on!

    1. It was fab. Next month we are going to Leeds for a similar event, same organisers, but with a different theme. I can’t wait.
