I had a lovely London Waterbus Trip from Little Venice to Camden Market, so I thought I should share the details, in case anyone else is interested. The prices vary, but they are £12 for adults, £9 for students, and £8 for children. It takes about 45 minutes to get from one station to another and the guide told us about what we passed by. The provider we went with is London Waterbus Company, but there are a couple more. So, while booking is recommended, you might be able to get tickets with the first ones that leave the station. Enjoy the pictures!

We’ve never done that and I think I would really enjoy it. It doesn’t seem like the price is too over the top, especially if you don’t do it every day!
Oh, this is is so cool!! Why have I never done this!? Must remedy that!
How fascinating! I didn’t know about this waterbus option of seeing London. I would love to take this waterbus trip if I ever come to London.

I bet this was a lot of fun. I’ve read a couple of things lately (one a novel, one a magazine) that dealt with the waterways in London. It’s something I’d never really thought about before.

It’s strange, isn’t it? I associate London with the tube, but this is “new”, 150+ years, as for thousands of years before the waterways where the main route of transport. I enjoy trips like this one, I had one in Amsterdam many years ago and it was lovely.
