On our trip to Nottingham we did a pub crawl. We went to 4 places and it was fun. I’m not sure if 4 is a good number or not, but it’s what we did.

First it was Ye Olde Salutation Inn, a 15th century pub with heavy metal music. Unusual and so fun, this place is a destination without any doubt.

Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem was next, the oldest pub in England, dating back to the 12th century. It’s very special because it is partly in a cave, a man-made cave near Nottingham castle. We’ve been there before and I would love to go there once more.

The Magic Garden was an unexpected stop. We were on our way to the next stop and saw this beautiful interior. It’s nice, lovely decorated.

Another gem, which was the most unusual one too, Pitcher & Piano, a pub in a Victorian church. It was so unusual and I loved it. It gets very busy even during weekdays, with some parts reserved for parties. The cocktails are amazing and it’s fantastic to be able to be so close to parts of the church that are not normally accessible.
This is a destination on its own and I would love to go there again. We liked it so much that we went there again on the following evening.

Isn’t this just stunning and unusual? What a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend stopping there.

Have you done a pub crawl before?

All these places look great! I’ve gotten too old for pub crawls since I would reach my limit before I made it very far! 😂

It was our first pub crawl and I loved it. Before that we went to a cat cafe, but I couldn’t include that in the crawl. :)) It was such an amazing day/evening.
I switched to cocktails, as they have less alcohol. 😀
We did a pub crawl on Saturday night around our little town. We only have 2 pubs. lol
It looks and sounds like you had a great time. That pub in the church looks amazing! It really is something different. x

I have no idea if 4 are too many or too few, but for us it worked that evening. 🙂
