Somehow I think people need a bit of relaxing pictures today, which is great considering that the post on Snowdon was scheduled in my calendar for today. I hope you enjoy these pictures, from our trip with the train up to Snowdon Summit. There was a fog/cloud thing on the Summit. The train ride is about 1 hour, with a 30 minutes stop at the Summit, before returning on the same train. At the base and at the summit there are cafes and a gift shop where people can get some refreshments and they do have some vegan options too. I think it would have been better with a longer stop at the summit, but from a logistics perspective it makes sense to have these rules. I enjoyed myself a lot.

Ha, it’s ALWAYS foggy up there! I walked the Pig trail up Snowdonia and it took so long and I was so tired. Honestly, when I discovered there was a train down, I was EUPHORIC that I didn’t have to walk down!
this is beautiful. After a wee taste of Wales (Cardiff) I would love to return and see more!
Beautiful photos and what amazing views!
The hour and a half stop at the summit sounds the perfect amount of time, you don’t want it getting too crowded up there. x
