It started snowing and I got excited. I went to the volunteer dinner and said: “it’s snowing”. Besides a Brit, who was just as excited, nobody else was particularly bothered… people who see snow every year seem to be less impressed than those living on the British Isles, who hardly see any snow.
The streets and pavements are cleaned quickly, at least in central Lviv, so it’s not a lot of snow left after a day.

It looks beautiful — and you’re right. People who see snow all winter long aren’t that impressed when it comes! (Although the first really big one is always kind of breathtaking!)
I don’t see snow often, so I always find it beautiful. Did you get a lot of snow growing up in Romania?
