Unbroken: Behind the Rim is a special exhibition in Lviv, on for another week. I mentioned the National Rehabilitation Center Unbroken last year, when I visited it. The artwork on display was created by soldiers who are treated at the centre. Before needing rehabilitation and, most likely, prosthetics, most of these men and women were not involved in creativity. The works in the exhibition were created by Unbroken patients while working in a workshop.
I knew that from the visit, so it was incredible to see the paintings and ceramics on display. I selected a few highlights.

What a fantastic exhibition and so great that the pieces were created by patients, they really are talented.

I was very impressed too. I knew they are painting as therapy, but I didn’t imagine the paintings would be as good as one by a professional painter. Also, I think it’s amazing that their work is so proudly displayed for us to see.
